ELEVATED

Nationally Certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, Brittany holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine with over 3340 hours of clinical and didactic training from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Co. Prior to this, she began her undergraduate degree as a Division I Lacrosse player at the University of Denver. After sustaining injuries that Western medicine was unable to cure, she sought out alternative healing methods. And, her journey into holistic medicine was born.

Brittany was drawn to Chinese Medicine, especially for the way it honors the spiritual aspect of healing. She felt this was a missing ingredient in allopathic medicine. She knew there was a better way. Drawing on her keen intuition and deep compassion, Brittany connects and listens to the body and soul, tuning into what each client uniquely needs to heal.

Along her journey, Brittany experienced a craving to dive even deeper into the spiritual and naturalistic philosophy of Daoism. She engaged in a year-long mentorship in Classical Acupuncture alongside an instructor teaching in the lineage of Dr. Jeffery Yuen. Often referred to as the “original Acupuncture”, this form of healing dates back to the fifth century B.C.E.

Brittany is a grounded empath with the ability to connect directly to source energy as a channel for healing. She meets her clients where they are;  communicating both clinical and spiritual remedies in a relatable way. Her treatments at Aspen Elevated Health seek to create a deeper integration of mind, body and spirit, empowering her clients to connect to their true self.

SASHA SELLS

MASSAGE THERAPIST, PRACTITIONER ORTHOBIONOMY®

Sasha Sells is an Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner and Liscenced Massage Therapist. She began working with alternative modalities with massage in 2013. Her education continued in 2018 when she found Ortho-Bionomy® and fell in love with the potential and powerful possibilities of this healing technique.

Ortho-Bionomy® is a non-invasive, gentle technique that honors the intelligence of the body to self-correct and heal. It can help a wide spectrum of ailments, injuries, pre/post surgeries and trauma. It has an osteopathic background combined with homeopathy and Judo and is a principle-based work. She is nearing completion of her advanced practitioners license and continues to study this modality as she realizes there still is so much to learn and grow with OB.

Sasha was born and raised in Aspen and combines her love for the mountains and nature with healing. Her own experience with alternative medicine began when she sustained multiple concussions in several years and found Western medicine was not helping. She is passionate about helping others on their healing journey. Understanding and recognizing the innate intelligence of the body through deep listening has been a gift that Sasha expands from.

Hil Boyd

Hil practices Reiki; a gentle, grounding form of energy healing that cultivates flow, balance, and alignment. Reiki impacts your whole being from the physical and mental to emotional and energetic. Hil's approach is intuitive and nurturing while geared towards transformative self-knowledge.

She releases stuck energy, tunes up the Chakras, navigates underlying stories, and reads past and future energies. She began her Reiki training in 2003 and received her Reiki Master Teacher certification after six years of daily practice. She honed her gift working with her own energy, supporting friends and family and clients throughout the US and Latin America. Hil has a breadth of knowledge in spirituality, yoga, nature's cycles, emotional intelligence, self-care, and the divine feminine. Mernie Curry

Mernie began her practice in Carbondale, Colorado, after years of health-minded travels. Cooking Ayurvedic meals for yogis in France, then to India for her yoga instructor certification at Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center. Her heart and mind were immersed in different cultures of healing and health, which propelled her towards learning more about the personal journey: how to care for the Self.

Mernie furthered her search for health and wellness at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition where she was trained in more than 150 dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Her practice is based on recognizing your bio-individuality and listening to your body as a guide to steer your healing. As your health coach, Mernie Curry takes a holistic approach to determine how best she can help you on your health journey. She specializes in mindfulness, dietary patterns and reshaping habits to channel your best life in personalized one on one sessions. Health and wellness is not just located in the body, it's in the mind, and soul, as well. Wellness is your mental health and quality of life, the joy you find in YOUR day to day. Health is finding what works for YOU, and not holding judgment if your path doesn't look like another's. We focus on what makes YOU feel the healthiest in every sense of the word.

Her own personal health journey is the reason she works hard to help others. As a teen, migraines and stomach issues drove her to reach out to doctors, naturopaths, holistic teachers, friends and family. She found, after trying many kinds of diets, exercise, meditation and research, that the path to wellness is a personal one. By working with health coaches, She found her own path to wellness. Given half a chance the body will heal itself, give it that chance and it will show you what it needs.
